OH MY GOSH. Okay. So. This may not be a super big deal to some people. But I am totally freaking out. I have followed Temptalia for so so long. Today my good YT friend RatherBeDancing3 tweeted me letting me know Temptalia had listed my review on her Link Love post. I was like WHAAAT!? Im so excited!! hehe.
Hey guys! So this is something random that I never do on my blog but really want to start. I am a closet clothes horse. Shoes, Clothes, Jewelry, I love it all! For so long I have dedicated all of my blog and youtube to purely beauty, makeup, hair. It's time for This Girl Shae to branch out and explore other areas of style. I thought I would start by sharing some of my latest fashion purchases.
One of my all time favy places to shop is piperlime.com. They always have amazing deals and sales on designer items! The most recent deal was 40% off their top selling items. I took full advantage! At first I only purchased one pair of shoes. After they arrived I loved them so much that I purchased another in a different color. Then a pair of Kenneth Cole as well ;)
I thought the wedges are perfect for summer, and who doesn't love a black caged shoe??
1. Deborah Lippmann Stripper To Go
2. Archipelago Pomegranate Soap -"The ancient Greeks knew that there was more to eternal youth than good genes and olive oil. Now pomegranate, their wonder fruit, has finally made its way from the kitchen to our beauty regimens. Get an elegant intro with this nourishing trio, which includes a long-lasting soy candle, lush hand crème, and triple-milled soap. "
"This smarty pants product uses a heavy water complex that weighs ten percent more than regular H2O, making it perfect for long-lasting hydration. The spray also incorporates witch hazel, myrrh, and spin trap, which work to calm and protect the skin. Like all Sircuit products, Molecular Mist utilizes chiral technology to extract and employ only the most effective parts of molecules."
5. Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten -"This palette begins as a creamy liquid mixture of berries, pinks, bronzes, and golds that is then baked for 24 hours to create a solid marbleized pigment. When you swirl them together they give you a healthy flush. The formula keeps your skin as healthy as it looks."Hey lovies. So I have two 10 shadow palettes from Inglot. Some of you may know of my current battle with Inglot from my twitter and youtube. For those who don't, Inglot did not send me all of my shadows for the first palette I ordered. I have been trying to get the shadow for almost 4 months now. They have told me multiple times they will send it and they just never do. This is driving me CRAZY since I PAID for it! Ugh. I could go on forever about my frustration.
Despite my anger towards Inglots customer service, I do love most of their products. They are very inexpensive and so highly pigmented. I would love to own more, but I refuse to give them any money until I get what I paid for. I have gotten many request for swatches from my palettes and I do not want to deprive my readers just because I think Inglot has horrible customer service.
I have a separate blog post on what every shadow abbreviation stands for, which you can find here.
Inglot is known for their wide range of shadows, formulas, finishes, and, confusing names. Their website provides little information on products and what stands for what. Not to mention the ordering process is very very confusing. They are new to online selling. I am hoping that overtime they improve their ordering system.
I thought I would put together a little breakdown of the meanings of each shadow name and pictures of each to help :)
